I moved to NYC just in time for the worst blizzard in a hundred years! Of course my luck this happens the week my friends are suppose to fly in to spend New Years with me in the city. My friend who is here for christmas, now can't get home and my other friend had to take a train to get to me, while a couple of my friend's flights got cancelled. I wish I had a great restaurant to write about this week, but I haven't really been able to leave the building. We tried to make the best of it and literally made my first snow angle at the front of my building. As my doorman watch confused, all I said on the way back into the building was, "I'm from California" which pretty much cleared up my odd behavior. The whole city is basically shut down, its abnormally quiet for manhattan. I seem to not be able to catch a break this week, let the new year bring some better energy!
